It's almost Christmas!!??

Where oh where has the time gone?  It's almost Christmas! I swore to myself that I would be a better blogger!  I'm guessing that it has something with Andy and I both working like crazy and having 2 babies in our house.  Yes, Olivia is 2 1/2 now but she's still a baby to me :-)

The last month has been quite eventful around here.  Let's see...Paige got her first 2 teeth!  They just popped uo overnight AND she started crawling (the normal way) and is now officially into EVERYTHING! She only stops moving when she is sleeping (not kidding).  Olivia is having a ball at dance and had her first official accident the other day that resulted in a black eye and a big bump on her forehead.  I wish that it was a better story.  Well, it is a pretty good one.  She fell off of the toilet and landed face first on the hard tile floor.  For a minute I was sure we were on our way to the ER.  But with some further investigation is was nothing but a good old fashioned lump on her head.  AND I was so mad because my camera broke and I couldn't get a picture of her black eye! I wanted to keep one just for memory sake.  October was fun.  We had to go to the pumpkin patch twice because Olivia loved it so much.  The hayride through the cow barn is her favorite part but she loved everything about the farm and the pumpkin patch.  Halloween was a blast besides Paige waking up sick with a cold that day.  Olivia was a farmer and Paige was a Piggy.  "Frick or Freating" as Olivia would say was so fun.  Olivia loved that people just kept putting candy in her bucket when she would ask....amazing! Olivia is the girliest little thing.  Painting fingernails and putting on tutu's thrills her to pieces.  She loves playing in my makeup and she keeps asking if she can have a party and all of her friends can come over in their dresses.  Both of the girls are so cute and so sweet.  We are so blessed.  I can't wait for the holidays this year with these two little girls.
OH and check back next week...we should have some pics of the girls new baby cousin who is to be making his grand entrance into this world on Friday.

The Dancing Queen and her just-about-to-crawl sister

Olivia had her first dance class this week!  She is in tiny tots tap/ballet combo.  With her new leotard, tights and ballet backpack she waltzed right into class and met her teacher, Miss Christa and instantly liked her.  The parents in this age group are allowed to sit around the perimeter of the room so the kids feel more comfortable.  Great idea! They started off with ballet learning first position and then finished the class like "princesses".  The teachers actually sat them in a circle and helped them pretend to put their princess dress, makeup, crowns and glass slippers on.  Then they were told to walk like princesses to their mommies to put their tap shoes on.  This part Olivia loved!  Something about shoes that make a loud noise on the floor that is just fun. She really didnt want to leave the 2 foot radius around me but she did tap right in front of me.  You'll see in the video that I couldn't back up any closer to the wall so her head is cut off in order for me to get her cute little tappin' toes.

Paige is growing like a little weed.  She will be 6 months old on Saturday and weighs18 pounds 7 ounces!  Olivia only weighs 23 pounds!  She is SO close to crawling she can taste it.  And speaking of tasting it...she eats everything she can get her little hands on.  Including any shoes left on the floor including the ones still attached to your feet.  She puts everything in her mouth, which Olivia never did so it's a little nerve wracking

Oh, and for your view pleasure there is a video of Miss Olivia singing Jesus Loves Me.  She gets a little shy towards the end but its pretty darn cute :-)
